I just checked my tape. What Martha said shortly after 4 pm, I think it was Martha, is that the floor was buzzing with rumors which acquisition targets would be good for AOl.

AOL is looking for acquisitions. Nothing was mentioned about AOL being a target.

Well. One more time. Pretty bad reporting on CNBC. Just now Martha said that there was heavy rumors circulating about what was going on at AOL.

I am pretty sure those rumors are about what co. or cos. AOL will make a bid for.

If the shareholders approve the increase in shares, would it still continue to be target of a hostile buyout? The only buyer with deep pockets to make that happen is either ATT or MSFT or maybe both.

AGAIN JUST A SPECULATION.
