LT, despise might be a better and stronger word. Just like when you hear oil magnates say that oil was going to $5 we hit rock bottom, recently a gold "expert" said that the bear market would last for another year or two and $200. So much for the experts -g- Contrary investing works, but you have to supplement it with other stuff, as people who have followed gold and been bearish on equities have learned tops and bottoms can take a long time to form. bwdik
