Jdaasoc, I felt the same way when I was at the IDF in Palm Springs earlier this month. After one of the keynotes (I believe it was Gelsinger)I called my broker and purchased 2000 more shares of Rambus. Unfortunately, those shares were purchased in the 90's but that's ok. I've been through many short term debacles with other stocks like Intel. INTC has had their share of earnings warnings and each time it gets hit hard, really hard. You just suck it up and deal with the issue and wait it out because a great company like Intel has the ability to overcome and move forward. Every time Intel got hit, it was a buying opportunity.

I see the same trend with Rambus, this is a buying opportunity. Intel utterly convinced me of their commitment to Rambus at the IDF and those with vision and patience will profit handsomely with RMBS stock.

Anyone who questions Intel's commitment to Rambus or to fixing this recent "bug issue" ASAP really doesn't have a clue as to what is really going on.

Thanks for your post,

Doug

Thanks, John, for the report. It is much appreciated.

By the way, seems like my stop order just kicked in and I'm now the proud owner of new RMBS shares, bought at 65. I might have caught the tip of the dead cat bounce, but like you, I do believe the downside is limited on this stock.

Jdaasoc,
I want to thank you for your report, it is very interesting to have the feeling of the people in this industry working directly on the development of the Rambus technology.
I can understand you added some more to your position with what I consider being very good comments...
Thanks
Orion
