Eh? Increasing the # of authorized shares causes dilution? I don't think so. It does absolutely nothing. It's not even an accounting entry.

Then even AFTER an acquisition, it is only dilutive if you are thinking short term. If the acquisition was a good one then long term the shareholders benefit from the extra revs and EPS.
