Bill,

But Clinton/Reno have more than a year left. That's a lot of crime to commit and cover up. The reps need to do what is RIGHT.

I would like to see some of these crooks forced to stand trial for their misdeeds after they leave office. An example should be made of the corruption that exists with this administration. Crooked politicians should know that if they abuse the public trust, punishment will surely happen.

You know another trial ain't possible. The best Reps can do now is what Thompson is doing, holding hearings - to which only one Dem showed up and little if any media. The major media is reliably "see no Clinton, hear no Clinton, speak no Clinton" when it comes to this. Reno just as reliably withholds evidence because of "pending investigations".

The Reps should also refuse to confirm ANY judgeships. And about the AWOL: McCain and Hatch should end their presidential follies and do THEIR duty and stop training their fire on the eventual Rep nominee. Of course, for McCain that means the end of good press and Al "C"Hunt would be among the first to target him.

I might catch flak for saying so, but I think Peter King is alright. He didn't pile on Clinton because of Clinton's positive treatment of Gerry Adams. King owed him one for that. Otherwise, King is staunchly pro-life and a solid conservative.
