If they can't even kick em out of office, what makes you think they can get a conviction?

None of this will ever happen. The best Republicans will ever do is whine and in then drop the entire matter, as they did with the PBS fracas a bit ago. They whine about holding "personal" investigations, ask a few questions, complain about being ignored by the Clinton Administration and then tuck their tails between their legs to slink back into their corner. These folk lack courage. So you should not expect anything bold and new from them. You should expect no action based on any decent principle. How they can shave in the morning is one of the true mysteries of this Clinton era. They should have just closed their eyes, lowered their heads and pushed hard toward the right thing, keeping their noses to the grindstone until all was quiet. They failed-- and on purpose. Now they have their jobs, but no dignity.
