I never said or implied that basic necessities have to wait. Yes, of course, you did. You said that "bigger" issues have to be tackled first. Then you went on to list nuclear bombs, the war in Kargil and so forth. The dirt and the squalor get worse with each year and yet, you think that there are "bigger" issues than that.

and many trying to inculcate wisdom in the unwise. Impossible. I will pay to have anyone inculcate wisdom in 'someone' we all know and wish would go away. BTW has anyone asked India if she even gives shit about what we think India should do? We left India. Now leave it be. Else go back and do something instead of just bitching about its shortcomings. Perhaps if someone is interested in providing toilet facilities so people do not defecate on the streets would like to go and manufacture or install toilets all over the country.
