OKDOKAY - I am a mild Don Cherry - I think fighting is OK with the lightweights as it beats the hell out of sticking somebody's teeth out - But I agree - Anticipated fights between goons is not ssomething I have ever enjoyed - I dont mind some guy getting into a fight after he stuck sombody or ran the goalie.

Frankly I get tired of the Tie domis = Proberts as you say -- If we only had the surprise fights - The guys who fight 3 or 4 times a year we would be much better off - It appears as usual I overereacted to the printed word

I have many friends in pro hockey - actually many are retiring or are retired. BTW - I was in a job interview one time and the guyt asked me what would be my ideal job. I calmly answered an NHL player/ I was offered the job.

Cheers
