Charley,
So, what do you suggest? Voting for the Reform party candidates? There is no other acceptable alternative but to vote for the Republicans if you want to correct the current situation. The difference in the percentage of voters that elect any candidate is usually small. Splitting the vote of the conservative group has already been proven to work great for the Democrats. Any defection of conservative voters to a 3rd party candidate is a vote the Democrats do not have to worry about. It shrinks the quantity of voters that can HURT them the most; those who vote Republican. So Charley, what do you suggest?

>>Like 94 made a difference? That should have been a watershed event, instead it was just a wash.

Yes, it did.

We would not be fighting over a surplus if the Republican Congress hadn't forced a balanced budget. Remember, Clinton didn't want to balance things until 2004, no 2006, no 2008 - anyway, well after he was gone and the Dems in Congress NEVER wanted a balanced budget - we watched them spend every tax and revenue increase throughout the 80's and early 90's.

Clinton has been governing in an active negative way ever since 1994, unable to do much legal harm because the Congress has stopped his harebrained schemes for the most part. As for his illegal activities, Clinton cannot be contained by a compromised "Justice" department or partisan media.
