Uses ARM processor instead of IBM's PowerPC . This strangely vague product announcement which appears driven by the competition between Palm and Mindspring:

" Psion takes on Palm with new handheld By Bloomberg News

LONDON--Psion, Europe's largest maker of palmtop computers, said it will start selling a new pocket-sized product this month that is smaller than any of its current models, taking aim at 3Com's popular Palm series.

The two-tone spectacle case-shaped "Revo" weighs about the same as a
mobile phone and costs $500. It will be sold through stores in Europe
and on the Internet in the United States. Separately, 3Com said it will cut the price of its latest Palm VII by $100 to $499.

Analysts said the new Psion machine could prove a popular rival to the Palm VII. Both fit in a pocket and offer wireless Internet access
through an external modem or a mobile phone.

The Revo will link to Psion's free Internet service, Psion.net. Like the Palm, the Revo can be attached to a desktop computer to share data. Unlike the Palm, it has a keyboard.
