Vitas, It really is very simple.

As long as OEX 665 holds, one can have Hope, understanding that BK Bill has taught many of us that Hope is not an option.

I was totally bummed out last week as it was obvious that OEX 685 could not make it to next Tuesday and stay within the Big Bad pennant. OEX 665 has a good chance. At that point, Mr. G & Co gets to decide the (very) short term course.

I've reflected that we've already seen the high's for the Market for this year, and that I believe it will be totally sane to end near zero for the year. However, I equally believe that we are almost done with the earnings pre-announcement garbage and we will enter that period of fantastic comparisons to last year.

All four legs of the stool are ripe to run. If Mr. G & Co leave it alone, I believe we get a great run to the third week of October. Then the Big Money will take a period of vacation until the Y2K issue resolves itself.

It is probably not a coincidence that this fits your research to the time element of the A/D line; however, as I noted to Paulo, it is probably not an accident that we've retraced 62%.

Just A Simplistic View from the Swamp
