I have no contempt for prostitutes, as a group. Some are individually contemptible. I've known a few since their days as happy pre-schoolers -- hard to say what happened, but to say they have any but bitter and unhappy lives today would be putting it mildly. I think a lot of men find young foreign prostitutes freshly appealing for several reasons. 1. The poor frightened little creature makes the guy feel all the more smart, strong, in-control, whatever. God knows, they're not constantly harping at your choice in the last election! 2. Since they don't quite remind you of your mom or your sis, maybe it's not like it's an actual person you're using. They might be friendly as hell while you're buying but when you walk out the door most are not swooning back on the bed thinking about what a dreamboat you are. Sometimes they think you're goofy, stupid or worse. There is not much doubt which party to the transaction they would call contemptible. Taking this down a notch; do you think the babe that smiles and laughs at all your clever remarks when she brings the drinks -- really thinks you're a neat guy? Not meant to offend you, nihil. Certainly not a holier than anyone rant. Just thought I'd add my outlook to yours. Mike
