Bob Walberg from Briefing.com just on CNBC. Read their stuff every AM with my coffee. A generally very bullish group. Bob is giving a strong warning that with any rate rise there will be a healthy correction. Mentioned that several market fundamentals have broken down.
Any subscribers who follow Briefing's writings concerned due to their usual bullishness?

I heard on CNBC that because of the trial in Oregon, AT&T wants to get rid of Excite so as to show no preference for on-line portals. AT&T feels this will improve their case with the courts.

Seeing how AT&T is handling this open access issue, how are they going to be able to upgrade cable for internet access in a reasonable period of time. Wireless is not that far off. I believe AT&T has really mishandled this whole issue!

Thank You

JK

All I can think of is that AOL gets the eyeballs from Excite and then gets a deal from T to use the cable lines, for a fee. As far as I can remember that's what AOL was asking for to begin with. Access to the cable lines for a fee. And T does not have to worry about content. T will still have their own ISP, I'd guess.
