LindyBill, But everyone involved should be aware of the enormous political influence that TV Guide has. The Annenberg Family is one of the most politically powerful families in the country, ( The Kennedys get the publicity, but they are nothing compared to the Annenbergs.) Tie to that the clout of the cable barons, and you will understand that a court decision is likely to be influenced. I find myself many posts behind once again. Your above concerns have been with me for the past 2+ years. When the first patent decision came in favor of Gemstar and the court ordered settlement conferences were ordered my faith in the system was somewhat restored. Regards Stew
