Chip McVickar: I don't trade options or futures. I usually invest longer-term "long" only in my retirement portfolios and investment retail accounts via index funds and selected big cap issues or go to cash. In addition, I day/swing trade long and short positions on individual stocks. I limit the size of my day/swing portfolio to a percentage of my retail portfolio valuation.

I am considering getting wet with E-minis down the road. This contest would have been a great chance to learn, but I am in the middle of some additional personal business, at this time, bad timing for me.

My QChart of the E-mini today: Note how the pre-established trend lines and support resistance price action areas come into play.
