Robert, If you ate nothing but your favorite food all the time, it would cease to be the pleasure that it currently is. With out the opposite of a thing, you do not fully know that thing. You may have grown up sheltered, but all kids know taunting, teasing, and are aware of fights, pain, etc. all kids may not experience crime, but they are aware that sometimes bad things happen. Evil souls on earth, are just simply evil. It does not imply that the soul is evil, it does not imply even that change is impossible. It certainly doens't impy that change isn't preferable. I do not really believe in the Judeo-Christian theory of heavan or hell, but if there is one, we do not know who is running it. Your assumption is only that, an assumption. No better or worse than anyone elses. Rehabilitation of souls does not preclude free will. There is an infinite differnce between rehabilitation and brainwashing. Think of it as an education. If an evil person received what they needed through love instead of violence, they might no longer wish to commit violent acts. I think it was you that mentioned you believed some people were genetically predisposed to evil(if not I apologize for the confusion) Is the sould constrained by the physical bodies genetic makeup, or is it more ehtereal in nature? I believe it is. If one is concerned with love, I believe justice falls by the wayside. If you are in the presence of true unconditional love(God) and you sit by his side as the murderer of yor family comes to his eternal fate, would you want that person to be eternally tortured or rehabilitated so that he understood his crime and wouldn't ever even consider hurting another again? Would you opt for the higher road or the lower in God's presence of love? Would God opt for the higher or lower road? Mark

Greetings Robert, <<< God should be concerned with Love AND Justice>>,He most certaintly is concerned, " John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". It was His love for mankind that brought us the " Good News ". It will be His Justice dispensed to all unbelievers at thier death that will seal thier eternal destiny. With all respect Robert, I must say that you have never seen your " true " condition, this can only be seen by the working of Almighty God on the heart and soul of a person. The natural mind of an unbeliever cannot understand spiritual things, hence the Word of God seems full of errors and inconsistencies. Within the heart of man there is the potential and capacity to commit the most heinious of crimes......................that includes you and I and all mankind. The difference between you and I is that I have seen the futility and hopelessness of this natural life apart from Almighty God and have been made a partaker of " Eternal Life " praise be unto the Lord Jesus Christ forevermore. I'll close asking you the same request as I asked Mark Silvers a while back during a previous discussion we were having. Please ask God to show you your " true " condition then and only then will you see your desperate need for the Salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. Robert
