I went back and checked Business Week. The quote does in fact say "By yearend, 3 million U.S. households will have online accounts with $374 million in assets."

As that is only $124 per online account, the Business Week number is clearly wrong (i.e., it does not pass the straight face test). Great catch!


The 374B figure doesn't work either because that would mean
an average of $124,000 per account - a bit much, don't you
think?
