I think you could be right and the market could tank. The technical condition is a mess. But it was like this in November 1994, too.

Money has been pouring into money market funds all spring and summer, sentiment is entirely too negative (for example your tom-tom), the weaker dollar is great for another kick higher in US corporate profits while profit margins of US corporations are already a record highs.

We have prosperity. The Net is huge. There is a digital panic in progress. Get this: bandwidth cost (both wireline and wireless) is projected to decline 30% per year indefinately. Do you have any idea what that means for e-commerce?

Joe Granville thinks we're in for the Big One within days. You two could be right. See you on the other side.
