Mardy,

1. Patents are there to protect rights. For financial reasons in 1993, we did not pursue our application in Europe. We have to live with the consequences. Our investors have given us enough money to make sure this does not happen in the future; thank you.

2. I do not believe the IEEE802.11a will have the same features.

The competition is very good (LOL: as long as they both use W-OFDM). Manufacturers should still pay us royalties if they manufacture or sell ETSI BRAN in north America.

I want to bring to your attention that the deal with Philips did not distinguish between ETSI BRAN and the IEEE802.11a and is a applicable worldwide.
