<Could you be kind enough to recommend one or more Futures brokerage to me? I am trading E-mini at this point. My basic requirements include fast, reliable execution and reasonable fees. Sorry to jump in and thank you much for your time. Also, do you know any source(website) regarding futures brokerages? By the way, I have used Lind-waldock for several months now and are getting pretty disappointed lately regarding their on line execution time, especially after they 'upgraded' to a new server.> Well, the story is that they are all the same because they all route the same way.....in other words, if one is garbage at any one time they all are. At least that's what I'm told. I don't believe that completely though because at some point it's in "their" system and not the common system, so LW may be slow while the next firm isn't. Besides, I got this from a Major Firm's broker and they all have the same story line.....bunch of High End Boiler Room guys. Same guy said the e-mini runs the same prices as the Large. Believe that and I have a bridge in Brooklyn you can have for a beer at McSorley's. I've been happy with anyone who does business clearing through LFG. I hate LW, so you won't get any argument from me there, but some fellows here like them. I hate them with a passion though. To them, as long as they are getting your commission they are peaches and cream. Else, you have to arbitrate to get them to talk to you. Been there, done that. Every time I went to their Compliance Group I got a different guy with an Irish last name who could not say "Hello" without sounding like he was condescending. I could name who they were, I wrote their names down because I was in the stages of making a formal complaint. I ran through about 13 of them. But other than that, the larger players are all the same...the only thing you can really do is work it on price and service. No help here. LFG is pretty good electronically though. Both through experience and hearsay. Many firms clear through LFG so what you have to do is ask who the broker clears through. You will hear a lot of people tell you good things about LW. Odds are, they have never had to confront them with a problem. At that point, you are just a piece of Road Kill. Perhaps I should add....." Guaranteed returns ".....just so the SEC has to read this post. EDIT Also check here for stuff that might apply.smotass.net
