Steve. Reading further, these GSM operators have their nationwide digital roaming alliance as indicated here. Perhaps Bell South wants to comvert Sprint to GSM but more likely they want to convert Mobility to CDMA and controll a nationwide presence. They have to do something or they will end up with nothing. Someone (don't recall who--but probably includes omnipint) is acquiring GSM operators with some plan in mind--like converting to CDMA. JohnG bellsouthdcs.com
