Blondes ...

Some research leads us to believe that good health attracts the attention of the opposite sex. Disease and infestations are hard to conceal in light coloured hair; thus, a blonde who is healthy is also visibly healthy as well. Spending the resources necessary to attract a mate is a risky process, and persuing blondes reduces this risk; hence, the risk/reward ratio favours blondes.

This assumes some intelligence is exercised in mating, a dubious idea at best.
