Cirruslvr, Re:"benchmarks" Yes you are right. It could be just a snow job or they really are gonna pull off a real performance surprise. I certainly have an open mind until we see benchmarks and if Intel has been hyping it and it is basically a PIII level of performance then it will come and haunt them IMHO. They key is that SPEC numbers don't lie and should tell us how good the platform really is. BTW the new K7 tweaks from AMD look great - wow 50W at 700Mhz and some core tweaking as well. regards, Kash
