David -- contest summary for the day

Exited the short position from Friday at 1310 --

unless you want to be nice to me and let me out at 04.50 or at 08 per the e-mail to Pat when I finally gave up on SI. Just kidding, David -- go with the exit at 10 since that is where it was when I finally accessed SI.

Other trades:

Sold 5 at 1310.50
Bought 5 at 1312

Am now flat as of the close

I have been keeping a tab for my personal benefit of the day trades vs the position trades that I am entering for the contest. As of this evening I am down on the position trades --even if I had reversed at 1304.50 as called for by the system, by about 6 points per contract. I am ahead about 6 points per contract on the day trades. Yeah, and when I exited the short day trade within minutes of entering it earlier this afternoon, it was because there was a day trade buy signal that was triggered immediately after the sell signal -- I was just too chicken to take it, otherwise I'd have been ahead another 5+ points per contract on the day trades.

May be Pat is on to something when he advocates day trading as the way to go!

Will get back to you re your pm later this evening or tomorrow
