Here's a data-point for you all to chew on (esp. twister). I described the Sun-Ray and smart-card system to my wife this weekend, when she asked me why was Sun doing so well. The next thing she said was: "Oh, that's nice. Wouldn't it be great if I could walk up to any computer anywhere and put my smart-card in and get all my data.". Vindication! P.
