Thanks for confirming that you received the e-mail

It was unfortunate that it happened that SI went down at that particular point. I now understand how people must feel when they can't reach their brokers to enter a trade that -- esp if they need to close out a trade that is going against them -- and in their case it is real money on the line.

Re your post to me on qcharts -- could not get to respond for the same reason. I am using qcharts at this time -- really ever since I decided to get serious about day trading. The features are good, the feed is spotty at times and the price is exceptional as far as value is concerned. If I can make a go of day trading to a point where it makes serious money for me, I will look for an alternative. I have heard very favorable reports about CQG's internet feed -- though it is priced at about 4-5 times that of QCharts. CQG as you know had been around for quite a while -- and has always been pricey -- but it also has a sterling reputation for the quality of its feed and customer service. But I am going to have to establish a track record for successful day trading for a few months before I go that route.

The latest issue of Futures magazine has an evaluation of several quote services -- you may want to check it out.
