I wouldn't be at all surprised to see WCOM test the lower limit of the collar in the next month or so -- and I'm sure there are arbitrage opportunities here that will keep a lid on WCOM. It may take some time for the market to digest this but intermediate-to-long term, this is a wonderful fit. Sprint shareholders should be elated at the prospect of joining Bernie's family of investors.

The arbitrage play is to short WCOM down to gain more shares under the collar. The collar creates the incentive to short the buyer and go long the target.
