I'm running windows 98. When I "find" mapi32.dll and then right click on it and then click propertiesand then click version it says its a file for wondows NT. But I'm running win 98. It will also say its a file in microsoft exchange? Well I did look on the win 98 cd but the files are all compressed i guess and I didn't want to load all of win 98. Also I switched it back to desktop from network server because I saw no gain but did start having computer glitch problem. I still have a slower operation of programs than I did before. How can I get that cache back to what it was before? Thanks for the help. SR
