Why not let the dude back? I mean without his help, 1/2 of them would blow up anyway. SI needs more shorts, we're surrounded by meglomaniac longs who all think it is "New Era" of prosperity. If there is no balance, the ecosystem will self distruct.

BTW, I'll probably need his vote someday, so why not honor among thieves?

I was a bit off topic. Management doesn't usually interpret the rules exactly the way each individual would like. I was picking up on the possible error of ducking responsibility by saying I was happy they didn't go in the other direction.
