Caller id should follow through from the originator, although in some older equipment it will not. It's pretty easy to weigh things up now:

Advantages:
1) Can surf the net and simultaneously take a phone call on the same line.
2) Get some additional call features from the PBX facility.
3) Get their fax service for an additional $5.
So far so good.

Disadvantages:
1) Looks like you will have to get Call forwarding is this a purchase the customer has to make?
2) You can only take the call at the handset attached to your PC.
3) For the time being your stuck with a 33k data connection which drops to 25k with voice. Not much fun if you have a V90 modem capable of running at 56k (especially if that's what what you're used to). I graduated to 56k this year and would never settle for less. In fact I'm settling on DSL.
4) Customer support doesn't seem to be much of a priority with them. Conflicting stuff here:
Read here if you want tech support from noon to 5.30pm: onephoneline.com
Read here if you want tech support from noon to 10pm:
onephoneline.com Tech Support
Which is it?

5) ISP will be run by the same management team that has been running the data products line for the last 5 years.

Possibility of success?? At any rate it will be interesting to see how things develop. Any news from the big conference on their marketing plans etc or are they saving them for another press release?
