The only question is whether WCOM can get others to pay the same premium its paying for the divested assets.

That is a valid concern in my opinion. The deal wil get done. The issues are how much will they be asked to cut or forced to cut and what will they receive in exchange for what they do divest.

They had to do the deal. They had to get cellular. Aside from Vodaphone, this was the best option for that purpose.

ww & thread, Ebbers should be making a presentation at the Goldman Sachs Communicopia VII at NY City tomorrow (unless he is too busy to attend and send someone else). Expect a lot of media coverage if he attends.
