Jon~

That was a good dose of common sense. Certain adjectives are frequently occurring on this thread regarding Anthony: arrogant, pompous, abrasive, loud-mouthed, etc. Now regardless of whether or not these pejoratives are true, or are predominantly the vitriol of people with thin skins and/or thick heads--the question arises...to where do we expel the pompous clerk on the corner, or the loud paper boy? Perhaps to hell?

Another question: If Anthony is bad, then why has the larger society not exiled him from their midst...God knows we could make him suffer if we chose to (although in the larger society people can not violate the basic freedom rights of others without justifying it with a million pages of legal decisions; dislike or dissatisfaction is not sufficient. We have been practicing democracy a lot longer than SI, and thus have established a myriad of legal rules and dictums which may be altered only after a great deal of adversarial argument). That sentence may well have been too long and could result (not in suspension and not in an SI sentence), but in my ice melting.

Well, my point is simply this: buying long is not a crime; selling short is not a crime; having self interest is not a crime; and not having attended finishing school is not a crime. Mixing Scotch with pepsi is a crime...and Anthony would not do that. If he did, I would be the first to throw tomatoes at him in the stock.
