Investor2,

You should ask that question on the ATHM thread. You'll get all the accurate information you'll ever need.

I2,

I've been using one for 18 months. Love it.

During the shake out period, (I got the service in the first week available) it was down fairly often. Now every several days for 5 to 10 minutes.

Throughput is still excellent and I am in a high use area. (SF Bay area)

Enjoy,

Ira

Its fine during off peak hours but no better than dialup in the evening.I have @Home cable through Cox cable in Oklahoma City and its very slow between 7-12PM just like clockwork and @Home cannot resolve the problem, and are they are not making any real effort to do so.Their response to my querys are that its unauthorized servers in the area and if I find out who they are to let them know. What I responded to that would get me in Jill-jail if I made it public here.:-)I'm waiting for DSL to arrive in my area and then @Home can take their POS system and place it where it won't be exposed to sunlight.
