Do I really have to say this again, this is the straight skinny: Vixel is shooting to the moon, 75 or more in six months, and the sh^*%&% coming from the Ancor crowd is just that. Well thanks Kensey. Here is more ammunition for the Vixel arsenal. This recommendation for going long by a respected stock picker like Kensey is just the ticket. For those of you who ever doubted Vixel here is the indication you need that you shouldn't miss this money machine!!!!! All aboard!!!!!! Train is leaving the station!!!! Oh and something else:

VIXEL High Rate failure BS

Ok guys, allow me to give you a little education...

I work as a support engineer and I've seen the
so called "problems" with the cards which is nothing
out of the ordinary and it happens to EVERY fibre
card manufacturer. Here's the scoop.

The Gigabit Link Module (GLM) laser signal quality degrades over time. Failure analysis investigations indicate the failure rate increases with the amount of time the GLM is installed and operating. GLM's installed nine months or longer are at higher risk of
failure.

Common symptoms include ALERT, or POWERFAIL, messages displayed on the system console and in the system logs

An example of a failure is listed below:

ALERT: fcT1 (0, 4130, 7/2/0) Fibre Channel Driver received an interrupt indicating a Link Failure. The Frame Manager Status Register
is 0x980010D0.

This happens with EVERY Fibre Card and not just Vixel's.
My company uses only Vixel and Fujicara cards and both exhibit this. The fix is to upgrade the GLM, NOT the whole card.

That's it,
Mike
