Just answering posts addressed to me, pretty much. Shall I reply to yours, Ish, or would you prefer the opinion you just expressed to stand unopposed?

You are not, I assure you, as sick of this subject and this thread as I am. You have not been attacked and insulted personally, and meanly, here, as I have, without a single person I considered, at bottom, my friend, including you, suggesting that this was perhaps questionable behavior on the part of an infrequent visitor to this place.

If he was so great then why did the deficit balloon out of control on his watch. Why did he agree to automatic cost of living increases for government programs that have nearly broken us. If he had vetoed that provision at the time it could not have been over ridden. Then the congress could still battle out the increases every year and there would still be some sanity in the budget.

And that's just one complaint. I don't have the time to complain about all the compromises he made with the eastern establishment. George Bush being the biggest.
