does it really matter if God is directing your every move?
This is basicly the belief system of nyhlism, that all if fated. It has a lot of implications for morals and such since if God controlled everything, a person does not need to take responsibility for any of their actions (since God made the decision anyway). I don't know anyway to disprove it, but then again if it is true then God made me write this message anyway.

If I assume I am writing then I am inclined to ask the question why God can't choose to determine some events, but leave others to unpredictability... . Can this direction of selected events overcome the chaos of surrounding uncontrolled events such that God could get a predictable outcome (Assuming that God has a goal in mind and is not just prodding us now and then the way a kid may push a stick into an ant pile just to see the reaction). Many people gloss over this problem by assuming that God knows the outcome of any event but that leads right back to a deterministic, nyhlistic, universe.
