what's the latest on the "bug" situation? Has Intel or Rambus identified the bug? If so, how long is it going to take to fix this baby? Need to know -- toute suite (right away).

(I don't know what an unacceptable solution would be, I could propose the following three: an 8 layer board or all DRDRAMS soldered to the motherboard or a return to the "wind tunnel" - but I don't know if any of these are either unacceptable nor whether or not any of them could solve the problem)

As you say, it all depends on what the problem really is.
