OK, thread parents, answer this one:

Today we had a minor row because Joey (9) password-protected his computer without parental consent. The explanation was that Jenny (3), had been "messing around in his directories". Time on that machine (I occasionally let her use mine) has been fairly hotly contested of late.

I'm curious to hear guesses on how many days will pass before I buy another computer....
