IMO, the CB's are letting the hedge funds and banks do some unwinding before they hit the increase in rates button. There must be some dangerous positions out there.

Don't know how much this matters but ever since oil has technically broken down, the market has rallied pretty strongly. IMHO, that hit if prolonged and spreads to other commodities could push those inflation fears away. FWIW, I have a bad feeling about this. Me thinks commodities are going to retreat along with gold while the dollar rebounds. Financials are oversold here and would provide the sign to whether the dollar will rebound and should be watched closely.

i smell a sudden breakout of inflation in the wind...
