You folks might want to check this out: biz.yahoo.com There's quite a few planned sales (form 144) from insiders for Dell Computer. I don't think it will hurt Dell's price in the long run, but it may depress prices in the immediate future, exacerbating the decline that usually occurs in mid-October. This may well affect option writers and holders. The market usually drops sharply on Wednesday after Intel reports earnings, Oct 13 this year. We usually have a rally in November and December, but with Y2K around the corner, I don't know if it will happen this year.
