The manner in which it is normally used on the thread is

Sudden A$$ Reverse

If I'm short 10 and want to be long 10 would I SAR 10 or SAR 20?

10

that would reverse your position, according to the way the thread has been doing it ....
as well as several brokers I've used in the past ....

Thanks...

If I were short 10 and wanted to SAR and be long 10 I'd say SAR 20 to be long 10.....

Maybe someone else might have another way of saying it.. I've done it that way and everyone seems to understand..... I don't know if there's any official way of putting it.....
