Thanks Jay for clearing my point. You said it better than I did. Internet companies use shares as money. They would buy Excite with the extra shares authorized instead of floating it out in the market. So it is in our interest to drive the stock price high now so that the extra stocks authorized and which AOL will be holding will be worth more money. And if ATHM goes down the better.
