I have since added another category just the last couple of days. I now know the partial reason for the few days of rally on some of the red hots and such are because of the money being put to work after window dressing in the first few days of the quarter. I understand it doesn't usually go past l0 days though. I had understood the basics of window dressings but hadn't added the first few days of spending in a new quarter. And because the high performing funds are getting so much money they need to spend it on these certain stocks. Next quarter I will be ready.

Astute observation.

But how to 'pick' where this money may most likely be spent?
'Hot' stocks, hot sectors, buying more of what they're already invested in, or...?

So much to learn.....so little time. :)

Isn't that the truth!

This spring I had the chance of buying FVCX or AHWY so I bought 1000 shares of FVCX at 3:55. Dang stock pre-announced that nite and lost 10 points at 9:30 the next morning while AHWY proceeded to double that day. I hope your right about HIFN being up after hours cause one FVCX a year is enough.
