"they need something to lift the face of boring ole AtT" See this is what I mean about the perception on the street...I know a few people who work for T and everyone tries to convince me that they're no longer the dinosaur they used to be...no need to convince me...I see how T has grown in many areas, but what good does it do when the street still sees T as "boring old T"...how can T change it's image into that of a new, more internet oriented company? Why does Lucent stock do so well while T stock lags? Both are owned by the same company...I wonder had the Lucent part of T bought ATHM, if ATHM stock wouldn't have kept on growing, as the street might've seen the deal as one between 2 "new" industry leaders, instead of ATHM meets the old dinosaur.
