PHCM..short turned out fine. Shorted also HOMS and covered, CMGI and covered, ALTR and covered, RHAT (3 days) covered, BVSN (and covered without a dime but went long then it was fine), I'm short PHCM but a small position. I agree that some IPO's will make the best "longer term shorts" but so far I'm more successful with 'short term shortie shorts". Also some nice longs today, but thanks for that tip on ABTL.. Thing is I'm sure on the private site its better to keep your 'shorts under wraps'. PHCM is junk but it ultimately it recovers after 2-3 day. I would think right after earnings season when no more 'nut rallies would be the best time for long term short. Also I'd save ETYS, KIDE for a short after X-mas when there would be no more on line gift giving etc.
