I feel it would make a dent, but not crush MSFT. Many retail consumers don't do enough word processing and number crunching to justify the $500 expense of Office. That is where AOl will fly.

I have jsut released a beta of a totally web-based Office suite and had hoped to market it to AOL, then Sun had to come out and make this announcement. I am months ahead of both Sun and Microsoft, but lack their marketing power. I am curious to see how the AOL crowd will take to the product.
