Why would they wait for what? To sell the stock? SEC approval for starters. How can you sell stock, legally, that hasn't been approved? I dont follow you.

I think I figured out what you were asking. "Why would they (BUYER) wait (TO INVEST)"? (I thought you meant why would FNTN wait to sell, sorry).

Could be lots of reasons, probably just as many as why someone WOULDN'T wait. We don't know all the possibilities.
