There is an old expression: Lie to me gracefully and I will pretend to believe you. While I have no gripe with Anthony, IMHO Anthony was anything but graceful in the promotion of his services. Furthermore, during one period last spring, his frequent threats of legal action against virtually anyone who dared question his track record or his credibility had a disquieting effect on the free exchange of ideas on SI. Whatever the vote, I would hope SI continues to enforce the TOU guidelines as it has in the past - in a realistic, reasonable way appropriate to the circumstances. Perhaps SI should just do away with this portion of the TOU and be done with it: The following actions, among others, may result in removal of messages and/or termination of your membership. . . Using the Service for the transmission of advertising or promotion of any product or service.
