Jeff,

Outside days, weeks and months denote a change of trend in charts. The SPX has been trending up for 9 days....a reversal would call for few down days from here. Usually substantial say 1300 on the S&P cash. But that is just a guess.

Very few outside days result in a continuation of the trend after only one day pull backs....usually lasts for a few days.

Also, I believe this recent rally is within a downward trending market. I don't know if you'd call it a **Bear** yet, but the peaks for the year are already printed. I've said this before.

There should be further run ups ahead...just no new highs. IMHO...
We must be careful about the bear....**IT** may have begun and last a number of months
