Frankfurt, Oct. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Deutsche Telekom AG, Europe's biggest phone company, is considering the
sale of its stake in Global One to France Telecom SA, one of the other partners in the international phone
alliance, weekly magazine Focus reported, citing Chief Executive Ron Sommer. ``If the French offer a good
price, then they can have all of Global One,' Sommer told the magazine in an article that will appear in
Monday's edition. The end of the alliance, which also includes Sprint Corp. of the U.S., won't be a setback
for Deutsche Telekom as ``our business isn't really very dependent on this project,' Sommer told the
magazine.

The future of the three-year-old alliance, which offers voice and data services to multinational
businesses, was in question even before MCI WorldCom Inc. bid for Sprint as the relationship between
Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom cooled after the German company sought a link with Telecom Italia
SpA.
